PITTSBURGH -- Down two goals -- and even worse, down two defensemen -- after two periods on Thursday night against San Jose, Pittsburgh Penguins coach Mike Sullivan offered his players a much-needed reminder. Cheap Air Max Plus 270 .You can win ugly in this league, Sullivan told them. The Stanley Cup champions responded with 20 minutes of grit against an opponent only too familiar with how deep the Penguins can dig when the moment requires.Evgeni Malkin, Scott Wilson and Patric Hornqvist scored in a 7:15 span in the third period to lift the Penguins to an unlikely 3-2 victory in a rematch of last Junes Stanley Cup Final. Hornqvist and Malkin both finished with a goal and an assist while Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 32 shots to buy the Penguins time until the offense finally got going. We played right, Malkin said. We moved the puck quickly. We shot the puck. . We did the right things. There were lucky goals, off the post, off the goalie. Its not pretty, but its important goals.Tomas Hertl and Patrick Marleau scored for the Sharks, who controlled the first 40 minutes and appeared well on their way to a one-sided victory before falling apart late. Martin Jones made 17 saves but saw the play in front of him break down in the third. This league is really a race to three goals, thats pretty much how it works, and we couldnt get the third goal, San Jose coach Peter DeBoer said. Again, let them hang around, which is something weve done lately. The Penguins captured the franchises fourth Stanley Cup in an entertaining final last June, finishing off the Sharks in Game 6 in San Jose. If San Jose wanted a glimpse at just how close it came to its first title, they need only look toward the rafters at PPG Paints Arena during warmups to get a look at the banner the Penguins raised last week.San Jose insisted Thursday had nothing to do with revenge or any sense of payback. Last June is gone. For now the Sharks are still trying to find an identity even with nearly the same roster back for another run.Theyre off to a hot start and certainly looked fresh playing for the third time in four days on the road. Not so much Pittsburgh, which failed to generate anything in a shutout loss in Montreal on Tuesday. It looked like more of the same 48 hours later with captain Sidney Crosby (concussion) and defenseman Kris Letang (upper body) out of the lineup.Hertl gave San Jose a 1-0 lead 5:04 into the second thanks to a strange sequence in which Fleury lost control of his stick when a shot from Brent Burns smacked off the handle. The puck was briefly cleared but as Fleury tried to chase the stick down, the Sharks rushed back into the zone and Hertl eventually jammed a rebound off a shot by Joe Pavelski past the stickless goaltender.San Joses lead doubled shortly after Hornqvists goal was overturned, stripping Chris Kunitz to create a 2-on-1 that ended with him taking a pass from Logan Couture and burying it by Fleury.Things changed quickly even with Derrick Pouliot and Olli Maatta unavailable after leaving with undisclosed injuries.Malkins second of the year -- a shot from between the circles 6:47 into the third -- got Pittsburgh started. Wilson tied it 2:14 later when he collected the puck from the corner and darted to the net before slipping a backhand by Jones.Hornqvist completed the comeback by slamming a rebound by Jones on the power play to give the Penguins the lead. Sullivan praised his defensemen while also giving credit to Malkin, Kunitz, Hornqvist and Phil Kessel for fueling an improbable comeback. They played inspiring hockey, Sullivan said. They played the right way in the third period and they were hard to handle because of it. When those guys play that way, they give us a chance to win.Game notes Crosby did not skate Thursday, a scheduled day off. ... The Penguins also scratched Conor Sheary (eye). ... San Jose scratched Fs Michael Haley and Ryan Carpenter and D Dylan Demelo. ... The Penguins went 1 for 5 on the power play. Virginia Tech will pay homage to Frank Beamers attention to special teams when the Hokies play their first game in 30 years without the Hall of Fame coach on the sidelines. This week, with Beamers approval, a member of the Hokies special teams will wear Beamers retired No. 25 jersey instead of the unidentified players regular number in the season opener against Liberty. In subsequent weeks, the No. 25 jersey will be worn by Virginia Techs special teams player of the week.I do not know whos going to wear it, before you even ask, first-year Hokies coach Justin Fuente said. But its something that I think shows great pride in the past and pays tribute to the way ball has been played around here for some time. Its something our kids will be excited about as well.Excited enough to want to improve their chances of getting a turn in Beamers jersey.Yeah, I would love to wear that jersey, running back Sam Rogers said. Im going to be fighting to play on any special teams I can. Whatever I can do for this team, Im going to be doing. The more they let me do, the more Im going to be happy to do. If Ive got a chance to go down on kickoff and wear No. 25, thatd be awesome.During his 29-year career at his alma mater, Beamer served as his own special teams coach, and his teams scored 55 touchdowns on special teams, blocked 67 punts, 41 field goal attempts and 28 extra point attempts. The ability to turn games around quickly on special teams was a huge element of Virginia Techs rise in football prominence.Im really honored that a member of the special teams will get to wear my old numberr every week, Beamer said in a release from the school. Nike Air Max Plus Tn China. Of course, its not just a recognition of me -- its about all those coaches and kids who made special teams part of our identity at Virginia Tech.Defensive coordinator Bud Foster is a big fan of the effort to honor Beamer.I think its really, really cool, said Foster, who was with Beamer for all his 29 seasons at Virginia Tech and remained on staff when Fuente was hired. When coach Fuente brought that up, I was thrilled for coach. It makes a statement about what we have done here. Coast Fuente is building on what we have done in the past with some traditions as well as adding in his twist.Obviously, special teams and `Beamerball was a big part of our success, and I can tell you right now, that is not going to change as far as what our approach is to the football games.Fuente said he will tell the team and announce who will wear the jersey this week on Thursday. He may find that with just 12 games on the schedule, he might have to disappoint some who would like a turn.I think its special, wide receiver Isaiah Ford said. Everyone knows how much coach Beamer means to this program and means to us, especially me individually, the affect he had on my life. I think that its a cool tradition to kind of live on and to kind of honor him on the field. Bulls management believed this team could be a title contender, but a combination of injuries and disappointing play was too much for new coach Fred Hoiberg to overcome in a rocky first season.Whats goodWhen the fans are actually into the game, few arenas in basketball can get as loud and be as passionate as the United Center. A stadium experience ranking of 77th, though still in the bottom half of all teams, is one of the Bulls highest rankings (their best comes in title track, though thats likely more to do with past success than future optimism). Last year, the team made a larger push to include more local vendors in their game-night experience, giving fans more options to eat from well-known Chicago eateries. This season, the focus is on cocktails, with local bars bringing their most popular options to the arena.Whats badA large portion of the Bulls fan base was upset after former head coach Toom Thibodeau was fired last summer and replaced by then-ISU coach Hoiberg (coaching dropped 85 places to 96th last year, then bottomed out at 120 this year). Wholesale Authentic Jerseys. The Bulls front office sold Hoiberg as an offensive guru players would enjoy playing for -- particularly after listening to Thibodeau bark orders for five years. Unfortunately for the Bulls, that was not the case. The team missed the playoffs for the first time in seven seasons, and Hoiberg never found his footing within the locker room.Whats newAfter years of hoping Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah would lead the team to a title, Bulls management decided to move on from both players last summer. Chicago dealt Rose to the New York Knicks, then watched Noah follow him. In their place, the front office landed veterans Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo to play alongside Jimmy Butler. Signing Wade and Rondo was an acknowledgement by the organization that it did not want to go through a full-scale rebuild. Whether that was the right move -- fans are certainly still unsure, dropping the players ranking 51 spots to 80th overall -- remains to be seen. The Bulls hope the new vets can help a young group of players, led by Nikola Mirotic and Doug McDermott, improve in their third seasons.Next: Denver Nuggets?| Full rankings ' ' '

PITTSBURGH -- LeVeon Bell stood at his locker, his face covered in sweat and his eagerness to kickstart his stalled NFL career palpable. Cheap Curry 5 .His three-game suspension for a second violation of the leagues substance abuse policy over, the Pittsburgh Steelers running back is ready to get back to work, particularly after spending Sunday afternoon watching his teammates get clobbered across the state in Philadelphia. It sucked, Bell said.Pretty much. The team that looked borderline unstoppable at times during wins over Washington and Cincinnati was a mess against the Eagles. DeAngelo Williams, who filled in so brilliantly for Bell during the opening two weeks, slogged for just 21 yards. The offense posted its lowest point total in five years and the defense spent the afternoon futilely trying to make Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz look like a rookie.Enter Bell, limited to six of Pittsburghs last 22 games thanks to knee injuries and run-ins with the leagues drug policy. An All-Pro in 2014 when he emerged as one of the best all-around backs in the league, Bell believes hes a better player than the one last seen being carted off the field in a loss to the Bengals last November with a torn MCL in his right knee.Im a lot smarter, Bell said. So many things I did my (in 2014) were good things. But I look back at my film now and Im like, `What am I doing on this play? What am I doing on that play?Sunday nights visit from Kansas City (2-1) marks Bells first appearance in a game that matters in 11 months. He insists his surgically repaired right knee is fine. So, too, is the desire to prove that hes all the way back. The faster the better.Ive always felt like I had to prove something to somebody, Bell said. That is never going to go away. Im always going to have this personal chip on my shoulder.Even if one of Bells biggest enemies the last two years has been himself. He sat the first two games of the 2015 season as part of the fallout for his arrest on DUI and drug possession charges in August, 2014. Another four-game suspension (eventually reduced to three) came down in August after Bell says he overslept and missed a drug test.Im not a perfect person, I never will be, he said. I know there are some things I can get better (at).Probably a good idea as Bell enters the final year of the rookie contract he signed after the Steelers took him in the second round of the 2013 draft. He appeared on the verge of stardom in 2014 when he put up a combined 2,215 yards from scrimmage and proved just as dangerous catching passes as he was patiently setting up his blockers following a handoff.Over the last 330 days hes released his own hip-hop mixtape (under the pseudonym Juice) and collaborated with rap legend Snoop Dogg on another track. What he hasnt done, however, is score a touchdown or participated in a Pittsburgh victory. He made a token appearance in the first half of the Steelers third preseason game in August but otherwise hes been a bystander. For the majority of Bells absence, Pittsburghs offense hardly looked like it missed him. Williams was steady and occasionally spectacular over the second half of the 2015 season and led the NFL in rushing through the first two weeks of 2016 before the team-wide pratfall in Philly.Bell believes theres a chance for the Steelers to go to a two-back system, though Williams himself has said repeatedly he expects to go back to a secondary role once Bell is ready to go. Bell understands there may be some rust, which is why he wont shy away from contact during practice this week. For me not to be hit as much since last November, Im obviously going to want a little contact, blitz pickup, just to get ready for it, he said.Bells teammates are certainly ready for his familiar No. 26 to join them, particularly after a three-hour reality check at the hands of the Eagles. He brings a lot of energy to the huddle, left tackle Alejandro Villaneuva said. Were just happy he can recover from this incident and get his career back because thats what matters to him and matters to us as well.Game notes S Robert Golden underwent an MRI on Monday to have the hamstring he injured against Philadelphia examined but is uncertain if hell be ready by Sunday.---Online: AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Curry 2 Shoes Cheap . Brad Jacobs and his Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., team took control of the game early. CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The dab is back.Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton brought back his 2015 touchdown celebration -- one that hed proclaimed dead during the offseason -- in the second quarter of Sundays game against the Kansas City Chiefs.Newton performed the Atlanta-based dance -- which last season became a national phenomenon -- after his 4-yard touchdown run in the second quarter gave Carolina a 10-0 lead. The move brought a loud cheer from the crowd.Just any spark, man, Newton said in explaining the decision to dab. Its hard to score in this league. I guess it was much-anticipated.Also in the first half, Newton?became the first player in NFL history to pass for 20,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards in his first sixx seasons. Under Armour Curry Shoes Sales. In doing so, Newton, 27, became the fifth-youngest quarterback in NFL history to surpass 20,000 yards passing. The four quarterbacks who did so at a younger age are Drew Bledsoe, Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford and Dan Marino. The reigning NFL MVP already owned the league record for most career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback. His 47th set up the return of the dab.Newton went on to throw an interception, returned by Chiefs safety Eric Berry for a touchdown, and the Panthers lost 20-17 as the Chiefs kicked a field goal in the closing seconds to overcome a 17-point deficit. When a team like the Philadelphia Flyers is on a remarkable nine-game winning streak, its a no-brainer that it will move up in the rankings. Cheap Air Max Plus . The same can be said for the Minnesota Wild and Calgary Flames, who are enjoying winning streaks of four and six games, respectively. Still, it takes more than that to dethrone the top two teams. Once again, the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens switch places atop our rankings, with the Flyers shooting up to third. Were also seeing some individual performances boost the St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Wild and Boston Bruins. The bottom of the barrel has minimal change, with the Vancouver Canucks, Arizona Coyotes and Colorado Avalanche still looking up at the rest of the league.1. (Last week 2) New York Rangers, 20-9-1Coach Alain Vigneault has gone with the hot hand in net, and now the Rangers have a goalie controversy brewing.?Antti Raanta?went 3-0, forcing?Henrik Lundqvist?to the sidelines as a healthy backup for three games for the first time in three years.2. (1) Montreal Canadiens, 19-6-3With forwards Alex Galchenyuk and David Desharnais both sidelined with knee injuries, many thought the Canadiens would struggle offensively. Instead, Montreal scored 10 goals against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday, led by captain Max Pacioretty (four goals and one assist) and?Tomas Plekanec?(a career-high four assists in the win).3. (10) Philadelphia Flyers, 18-10-3The Flyers extended their winning streak to nine games by getting lots of goals from their scorers, good defense from the blueliners and strong goaltending. And all of this without defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere, who is?day-to-day with an upper-body injury.4. (4) Pittsburgh Penguins, 18-7-3The Penguins are on a winning streak (five games) of their own. Captain Sidney Crosby has six goals and six assists for 12 points in his past seven games and leads the league with 20 goals. He and the Pens have four games this week, against the Coyotes, Bruins, Kings and Maple Leafs.5. (6) Columbus Blue Jackets, 17-5-4Columbus confidence is high, as the Blue Jackets have gone 7-0-1 in their past eight games. It also helps that goalie Sergei Bobrovsky is 6-0-1 in his past seven games, including five consecutive wins and a 1.56 goals-against average during that stretch.6. (3) Chicago Blackhawks, 18-8-4Captain?Jonathan Toews?skated on Sunday for the first time in a week, but the Blackhawks arent rushing his return from an upper-body injury. Backup goalie?Scott Darlings shutout streak was snapped at 125:39, but he has been outstanding in relief of Corey Crawford (out since his appendectomy).?7. (7) Washington Capitals, 17-7-3Coach Barry Trotz has criticized?Alex Ovechkin?for being penalized too often this season, and No. 8 has heeded his advice. After a seven-game goal drought, the Caps captain scored his 13th goal of the season -- and 200th career power-play tally, making him the 18th player in history to reach the milestone -- on Sunday.?8.? (11) St. Louis Blues, 16-9-4No rest for the weary. Goalie Jake Allen started his third game in four nights and his fourth game in six nights on Sunday against the Wild. At least hes getting help on the other end from forward Vladimir Tarasenko,?who has points in 14 of his past 18 games (10 goals and 13 assists).9. (8) San Jose Sharks, 16-11-1Forward Logan Couture is heating up and has seven goals in his past 10 games. Overall, he has 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points in 28 games.10.?(14) Minnesota Wild, 15-8-4The Wild have won four in a row and enter Mondays action in third place in the Central Division, thanks in large part to goalie Devan Dubnyk, who?leads the league with a 1.66 goals-against average, a .946 shooting percentage and four shutouts. Head coach Bruce Boudreau has done a terrific job in Minnesota, and his addition of former NHL defenseman Scott Stevens to run the defense has paid big dividends.11. (5) Ottawa Senators, 16-11-2The Senators need to fix their penalty-killing unit -- soon. Ottawa allowed three power-play goals for the third time this season, and the second time in as many games, during Sundays 5-1 loss to the Ducks. The Senators will miss defenseman Mark Borowiecki, who was suspended two games for his boarding penalty against Kings forward Tyler Toffoli on Saturday.12.? (12) Edmonton Oilers, 15-11-5I have no issue with captain Connor McDavid calling Flyers Brandon Manning classless after a game last week. Whether hes correct that Manning hurt him on purpose last season, its good to see McDavid ?-- who leads the league in points -- showing emotion.?13.? (15) Boston Bruins, 15-12-2David Pastrnak has been a dynamic player and the teams best forward. He has 18 goals in 24 games and is trying to become the first Bruin to score 20 goals in fewer than 25 games since Cam Neely netted his 20th goal in his 19th game during the 1993-94 season.14.? (17) Calgary Flames, 16-13-2Defenseman Dougie Hamilton had his third multigoal game, and second of the season, to help Calgary to a 6-2 win over the Jets on Saturday. The Flames have won six consecutive games, and Hamilton has played well since Brian Burke, Calgarys president of hockey operations, debunked trade rumors. On the offensive end, forward Sean Monahan has four goals and five assists for nine points during the teams winning streak.15.? (19) Anaheim Ducks, 15-9-5The Ducks have won three games behind the performances of Corey Perry and Ryan Kesler, both of whom extended their respective points streaks to five games. Perry has two goals and five assists for seven points, while Kesler has four goals and three for seven points during the streak.16.?(13) Los Angeles Kings, 14-11-2Forward Anze Kopitar has five assists in his past four games but hasnt scored since Oct. 25, a span of 16 games. Overall, he only has 14 points in 22 games this season. Meanwhile, Jeff Carter leads the Kings with 21 points. And Carter?scored the winning goal in four games during the teams recent five-game winning streak.17.?(9) Tampa Bay Lightning, 14-13-2Forward Nikita Kucherov has not gone more than two consecutive games this season without recording a point. He had an assist during Saturdays 4-3 loss to the Penguins. He now has 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points in 29 games.18. (16) Winnipeg Jets, 13-16-3Defenseman Dustin Byfuglien has one goal and six assists for seven points in his past eight games. Teammate Mark Scheifele has 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points in 29 games.19.?(18) Nashville Predators, 12-11-4Forward Mike Ribeiro is producing consistently of late, posting two goals and nine assists for 11 points in his past 12 games.20.? (20) New Jersey Devils, 12-10-6The Devils have dropped three straight, but you cant put all the blame on goalie Cory Schneider. He has allowed three or more goals in his past six losses, but its a result of the play in front of him. Thats why New Jersey is scrambling.21.?(21) Florida Panthers, 13-12-4Goalie Roberto Luongo made 37 saves as the Panthers snapped a four-game losing skid with a 4-2 win over the Canucks on Saturday. Florida is 1-2-2 in its past five. Luongo has 446 career wins and is one shy of tying Terry Sawchuk for fifth all-time. Meanwhile, the ageless?Jaromir Jagr is four points shy of tying Mark Messier for second place all-time with 1,887 points.22. (26) Detroit Red Wings, 13-12-4It can be difficult to defend Dylan Larkin when hes using his ridiculous speed, and thats exactly what he has been doing lately, dashing by defenders to score four goals in his past nine games. Veteran forward Frans Nielsen is clearly enjoying his first season in Detroit. He has three goals and five assists for eight points in his past nine games.23. (23) Carolina Hurricanes, 11-11-6Defenseman Noah Hanifin has recorded an even-or-better plus/minus in 16 consecutive games. As a rookie last season, he had 14 consecutive games with a similar stretch.24.?(22) Dallas Stars, 11-13-6Defenseman Jamie Oleksiak was suspended for two games for an illegal check to the head of the Flyers Chris VandeVelde on Saturday, which will slow an already-struggling D.25.? (24) Toronto Maple Leafs, 11-11-5Goalie Antoine Bibeau made his NHL debut and finished with 26 saves in Sundays 3-1 loss to the Avalanche. Leafs rookie Auston Matthews has six goals in his past eight games.26.?(25) Buffalo Sabres, 10-11-6The Sabres have lost three of their past four games. Since Jack Eichel returned, Buffalo is 3-2-1. But inconsistency continues to plague the Sabres, and their special teams need to improve.?27.? (30) New York Islanders, 11-11-5Captain John Tavares has three goals and two assists for five points to extend his point streak to five games. The Islanders are 5-1-1 in their past seven games and will face the Capitals and Blackhawks next.28.?(27) Vancouver Canucks, 12-15-2Forward Bo Horvat is second on the team with eight goals and hes third in points, with 16. He has also been solid at the faceoff dot.29.?(28) Arizona Coyotes, 9-13-5Brendan Perlini scored his first career NHL goal in only his fourth game to help the Coyotes snap a six-game losing skid by beating the Predators 4-1 on Saturday. The Coyotes Alex Goligoski is one of six NHL defensemen to have at least 10 assists, 50 blocked shots and 30 hits, joining the Blue Jackets Erik Johnson, the Canadiens Shea Weber, the Ducks Sami Vatanen, the Jets?Dustin Byfuglien?and the Flyers Ivan Provorov.30.? (29) Colorado Avalanche, 11-15-1The Avalanche have been battling inconsistency all season. Goalie Semyon Varlamov made 51 saves en route to a 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs on Sunday. CLEVELAND -- The grueling four-month championship drought could soon be over. Cheap Air Jordan 2 China Wholesale .Cleveland, yes, Cleveland, a city kicked around for years and where sports heartbreak was engrained in the collective DNA of generations of fans and misery was a fumble or John Elway touchdown pass away, is on deck for another title celebration. This year, everyone else is playing for second place. Its Clevelands turn in the spotlight. The empty cups and bottles had barely been cleaned up from the summer-long party after LeBron James and the Cavaliers stormed back to win the win the NBA Finals, when along come these improbable Indians, a team that has defied the odds all season and advanced to the World Series for the first time since 1997.And in a perfect sports storm almost unimaginable to the most optimistic fan, the Cavs will receive their diamond-studded rings Tuesday night at Quicken Loans Arena and become the first Cleveland team since 1964 to hoist a world championship banner as the Indians throw out the first pitch in Game 1 next door at Progressive Field. Is there any better way? asked James, the star whose return home in 2014 triggered a wave of hope across Northeast Ohio. I dont know, having an ice cream truck outside both arenas at the same time as well. Its great. We get to host the World Series and we get our rings on the same night -- at the same time.If we had a retractable roof it would be probably the loudest (sound) we ever heard, so its pretty special, he said. For years, Cleveland was little more than a punchline to outsiders -- a city dubbed The Mistake On The Lake. These days, the jokes on everyone else. Cleveland is undergoing a 21st century renaissance that intensified when the Cavs stopped the citys dry spell without a major pro sports championship at 52 years. Now the citys abuzz about the Indians, who havent won the World Series since 1948.On Thursday, the final World Series tickets sold out in 15 minutes and fans endured long lines to buy merchandise commemorating the AL pennant.Claudia Beal was one of them, and as she waited patiently at a sporting goods store in suburban Westlake, the mother of three boys was savoring every second. When I moved here, people thought I was crazy. They were like, `Oh, Cleveland, she said, rolling her eyes. And now they see what its like and were getting our turn. I think everyone now realizes what a great city it is. It has this bad rap. I didnt know I was going to move here, and once I got here, I was like, this is amazing. And as Clevelands image changes, so does its people.By winning it all, the Cavs inspired confidence in fans who grew to expect the worst in big moments. Theyd been tortured by Elway beating the Browns in AFC championship games, Michael Jordan knocking down a game-winning shot to sink the Cavs and the Indians losing Game 7 to Florida in 97.But James and his teammates, who have rallied behind the Indians at playoff games this October, gave fans the belief anything is possible. They also took some of the pressure off the citys other teams.Thats part of my whole mindset is to inspire as many people as I possibly can -- from kids growing up in my inner city to professional athletes in our city, James said.Cavs coach Tyronn Lue has entrenched himself into Cleveland since arriving two years ago. Even now, months after his teams historic comeback, hes stopped by fans basking in a title that was always out of reach.I dont know why, but they do come up to me and thank me, Lue said, smiling. Were champs and they carry themselves like that and rightfully so.Anne Balk feels grateful. Like so many Cleveland fans, shes enjoying this 2016 joyride. Her journey, though, has deeper meaning. As the Cavs marched toward a championship, she gave birth and spent many nights in front of the TV watching playoff games along with her baby boy, Bodhi. In a few years, Balk, who shopped for souvenirs while wearing a black hoodie that said, Ohio Against The World, will tell her son the amazing story of his first seasons as a Cleveland fan.You know, she said. This has been quite year for us. Wholesale Authentic Jordans . He said Tuesday thats a big reason why he is now the new coach of the Tennessee Titans. Lewis Hamilton says he will come back stronger in 2017 after learning some valuable lessons this season.Hamilton missed out on title by five points to Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg this year, despite taking more wins and more pole positions over the course of the 21 races.Hamilton dropped points with MGU-H problems in qualifying at the Chinese and Russian Grands Prix as well as losing out on victory in Malaysia with an engine failure. However, he also lost points due to a series of poor starts -- an issue that was corrected later in the year after time spent with his engineers at the teams factory -- and a finish off the podium in Baku following a mistake in qualifying and an incorrect engine setting during the race.I learned a lot about myself this year, he said. I understood and found where there are weaknesses, which I can now improve for next year -- some I already did party way through the season.I read somewhere that Baku was a bad race through performance, but qualifying was the bad performance and in the race I was stuck with a setting that the team had set and I had no information of what it was. But otherwise there are definitely races where hindsight would have been a great thing -- I could have done this or I could haave done that and maybe I could have got a better start. Cheap Air Jordan 1 China Wholesale. Maybe if Id done this I would have won, but thats not something that I try to do in a season, because in the heat of the moment you do the best you can. I won the last four races and I think I performed pretty well throughout the year to have the amount of wins I had.I won 10 races and had 12 pole positions, which, considering I didnt compete in three of the qualifying sessions, Im very very happy with. The goal next year is to try and up that, which is always going to be incredibly tough. In attempting to overcome some of the problems he faced, Hamilton said he had to dig deeper than ever before this season.I think I drive well every year, but I think I probably drove with more heart than I ever have done before. I was faced with a lot more challenges along the way - if you start first, fall back to eighth and have to fight back through.I had to dig deep, probably deeper than other years when I have started first and disappeared. I would say it has taken a lot more heart and a lot more courage to face the challenges and overcome them. ' ' '

And then Djokovic only contested six games Friday, until his third-round opponent, Mikhail Youzhny, stopped because of a strained left hamstring, prompting the 12-time major champion to head back out on court with coach Boris Becker for a practice session. So the question was put to Djokovic: Is so little action a good thing, because it provides a chance to rest and heal after some trouble with his left wrist and right arm recently? Or is it a bad thing, because theres a chance of accumulating some rust?Well, depends at how you look at it, he began. This particular situation I never had in my Grand Slam career. But considering the stage of the season, you know, the amount of matches Ive played, what Ive been through with my body, I think its actually good to have some days off and then shorter matches -- from one side, Djokovic said. From the other side, sure, as you are approaching (the) second week of the Grand Slams, he continued, you want to have match play and you want to have time spent on the center court before you face one of the top players.Edmund and Andy Murray gave Britain two men in the round of 16 at the American Grand Slam tournament for the first time in 50 years, back when it was known as the U.S. Championships. Edmund is the first man from the country other than Murray to get this far at any Grand Slam tournament since Tim Heenman was a semifinalist at the 2004 U. Cheap Hydro Flask Free Shipping. S. Open. Then theres this daunting stat for Edmund, who eliminated 20th-seeded John Isner of the U.S. in the third round: Djokovic has a 72-match Grand Slam winning streak against opponents ranked outside the top 50.Heres what else to watch Sunday at the U.S. Open:KEYS VS. WOZNIACKI: There will be a matchup of vastly contrasting styles when No. 8 Madison Keys takes on two-time runner-up Caroline Wozniacki in the afternoon on Ashe. Keys, a 21-year-old American, has among the most powerful serves and forehands in womens tennis today. Her aggressive approach will go up against the more conservative, defensive game of Wozniacki, a former No. 1 who is now ranked 74th. Wozniacki hadnt won at a match at a major tournament in 2016 until this week.NADAL VS. POUILLE: Rafael Nadal has been playing about as well as can be so far in New York heading into his match against No. 24 Lucas Pouille of France, dropping only 20 games -- his lowest total through three matches at the U.S. Open, which he won in 2010 and 2013. The left wrist injury that sidelined him for 2 1/2 months does not appear to be much of an issue any more for the 14-time major champion. Pouille is coming off his Grand Slam quarterfinal debut at Wimbledon.TSONGA VS. SOCK: Two guys equipped with big serves and big forehands meet when No. 9 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France plays No. 26 Jack Sock, the last U.S. man in the tournament. Tsonga was the runner-up at the 2008 Australian Open, while Sock will be trying to get to his first major quarterfinal -- and trying to be the first American man to make it that far at the U.S. Open since Andy Roddick and John Isner in 2011.---Follow Howard Fendrich on Twitter at http://twitter.com/HowardFendrich ' ' '
Each week, ESPN. Swell Bottle Wood .com.au AFL draft expert Christopher Doerre - aka Knightmare - casts his eye over the countrys best junior footballers to give readers an early insight into the next generation of AFL stars. As well as attending live games, Doerre pores through match vision, analyses the stats and talks to industry sources to ensure he can offer the most insightful draft analysis.Aside from the weekly wrap, Doerre will also unveil his power rankings at the end of each month. And as we get closer to Novembers national draft, Doerre will also predict who goes where with his annual phantom draft.Player focusJoshua Begley was unsuccessful in making this years Vic Metro squad, not representing Vic Metro during the AFL Under-18 Championships. He did however receive an invite to this years AFL Draft Combine, one of 80 to receive an invite.Making a name for himself as a forward, kicking 16 goals from his first four games this season, Begley has since showed prowess playing primarily through the midfield. Begley has featured in the bests for Eastern in eight of a possible 12 games and has 23 goals to his name so far this season.Against the Geelong Falcons, he had his lowest disposal total in any game in which he has not kicked a goal this season, with 16 touches, eight contested possessions, eight tackles, five clearances and one score assist for the game.Playing through the midfield against Geelong, Begley lined up at stoppages against one of next years gun midfield prospects in James Worpel, overall breaking even, with Worpel like Begley not achieving his regular numbers through the midfield.Begley at 187cm, 87kg is already very strongly developed physically and is someone who has a presence to him out on the field. He wins first possession at stoppages, tackles aggressively, marks strongly overhead and crashes packs.Analysis?Begley has proven to be an effective ball user this season. He is not only a good finisher around goal and from set shots but also hits his targets by foot over a variety of distances. At stoppages he also dishes out well by hand to teammates. His most pressing deficiencies are a lack of pace, agility and endurance. Begley seems to have dropped some weight and covers the ground better than he did earlier in the season, but further work is still needed. He also often feels more influential earlier in games, which again comes back to his fitness base. With a few pre-seasons into him, the hope would be that he develops an AFL body and improves his running ability while still retaining his power game that makes him an impactful player.Begley at this stage is seen as someone who will come under consideration in this years draft from the third round onwards.Victorian prospect watchTAC CupHugh McCluggage seems to get a mention every week, and it should come as no surprise when looking at his numbers. This week he had 37 disposals, 16 contested possessions, five marks (one contested), four clearances, eight inside 50s, two goals and three score assists. With the AFL earlier in the week rejecting Essendons request for Will Brodie to play for their VFL side, it seems likely that Brodie is Essendons preference with what is expected to be the first overall selection in this years AFL draft. This may place McCluggage in the sights of Brisbane, Fremantle, Carlton, Gold Coast or Richmond towards the top of the draft if he has a strong finals campaign and impresses at the AFL Draft Combine.Jarrod Berry, who was touted as a potential top-10 selection coming into the season, was impressive on return from injury with 17 disposals, six marks (two contested), three goals, four behinds and two score assists.Berry has in the past made a name for himself off half back and through the midfield. Seeing Berry have an impact as a forward just adds another string to his bow and only increases his draftability. Berry will be a player to watch during the TAC Cup finals. With continued strong play he has the ability to push up draft boards.Mitch Lewis, a 197cm key forward who can rotate through the ruck, had a breakout game for Calder. He had 33 disposals, 13 marks (two contested), 12 hitouts, four goals and two score assists in a game he will be looking to build on.Top-ager Joshua Patullo, a 198cm ruckman, had a team high 29 disposals, 22 contested possessions, five marks (three contested), 27 hitouts and 12 clearances along with one goal and one score assist. This was an eye-opening performance through the ruck by Patullo for Gippsland and a game that will likely have spiked the interest of state league clubs looking for a ruckman with scope to develop.Myles Poholke showed great power at stoppages and around the ground for Dandenong with 29 disposals, 13 contested possessions, five marks (one contested), five tackles, four clearances, six inside 50s, one goal and two score assists.Sam Fowler, a 169cm forward, impressed playing this week primarily through the midfield with 28 disposals, 13 contested possessions, six tackles, six clearances, seven inside 50s and two goals.Brodie Romensky has stood out all year for Western. He was agains impressive with 38 disposals, 17 contested possessions, seven tackles, seven clearances, seven rebound 50s and one score assist.Romensky leads the TAC Cup this season, featuring in the bests 11 times from his 12 games. At 189cm, he is one of the better ball winners in the TAC Cup. He is one of a group of midfielders who could be viewed as unlucky not to receive a draft combine invite.Jaidyn Stephenson, a bottom-age forward for Eastern, was rightly named best on ground with 14 disposals, four marks (two contested), four tackles, five goals and two score assists. For a 188cm forward, Stephenson is exceptionally clean when the ball hits the deck and he showed more of the same against Geelong. His set shot-goal kicking was reliable. Impressive at one stage was his movement in traffic to avoid would-be tacklers. It was also pleasing to see Stephenson take a pack mark, then play on quickly, run for 15 metres and find the inside 50m target by foot.Eastern teammate Sam Hayes, a ruckman/key forward who was the only bottom-ager to make this years under-18 All Australian team, impressed through the ruck with 18 disposals, seven marks (two contested) and 33 hitouts.?At centre bounces Hayes felt for much of the game to be on top. What was particularly impressive was his marking, taking a pack mark with his arms raised high and a one-on-one contested marking situation where Hayes read the flight earlier than his opponent and smartly took front position. The signs are there from Hayes to push for selection early draft in 2017.Tate Short, a 188cm forward/midfielder for Eastern, had an impactful 14 disposals, six contested possessions, four marks (one contested), six tackles, three clearances and two goals. Rightly finishing in the bests for Eastern. His speccie just before quarter-time had spectators up on their feet and was one of the moments of the game.Bottom-age midfielder Jack Higgins proved a match-winner for Oakleigh with 34 disposals, 11 contested possessions, 11 marks (one contested), three goals and four score assists.Taylin Duman, a 193cm, 75kg versatile midfielder, impressed with 26 disposals, 12 contested possessions, three clearances and two score assists. This is on the back of a game with 34 disposals, 14 contested possessions, seven marks, three clearances, one goal and one score assist the previous week.Luke Bunker who has been arguably Northerns best midfielder in the matches he has played this year, had 34 disposals, 16 contested possessions, nine tackles, 10 clearances and three goals. He also contributed consistently during the under-18 Championships for Vic Metro through the midfield. Bunker is another of those unlucky midfielders not to receive a draft combine invite.Mason Blakey backed up his strong effort off half-back last weekend with 28 disposals, five marks, five tackles and four rebound 50s this week.Corey Lyons through the midfield for Sandringham had 32 disposals, 17 contested possessions, six marks (one contested), seven clearances, five inside 50s and one goal. Lyons also did not receive a draft Combine invite, despite consistent strong performances for Sandringham.Hamish Brayshaw continues his strong recent form with 24 disposals, 10 contested possessions, 10 marks (three contested), 10 tackles, four inside 50s, nine rebound 50s, one goal and one score assist.Brayshaw is making a late season push for selection in this years draft coming off 30 disposals, nine marks, one goal and 23 disposals, seven marks and four goal games in his two previous games.Todd Marshall continues his push for selection inside the top 10 with 17 disposals, seven marks (three contested), seven tackles, three goals and one score assist.VFLNorthern Blues 177cm forward Hisham Kerbatieh -- who was overlooked in last years draft -- impressed against Werribee in arguably his best game of the season with 21 disposals, three marks, three tackles and five goals.Jordan Russell, 30, had 34 disposals and eight marks (one contested) off back flank. The former Blue and Pie has this season in the VFL featured in the bests 12 of 15 games. This is an equal competition best with midfielder Michael Gibbons. Russell while not as explosive as he was earlier in his career has this year looked arguably as good as he has since his 2010 season. His leadership, footskills and intercept marking all are features of his game.Russell, while an unlikely draft prospect at the age of 30, would be a suitable rookie choice based on his form this year for a club either looking for some stability and leadership down back, or a contending team looking for some immediate depth.South Australian prospect watchSANFLLeagueZac OBrien, a former Brisbane midfielder, was West Adelaides best in a loss with 37 disposals, 21 contested possessions, 12 tackles, 14 clearances and one score assist. He has played an important role for West Adelaide through the midfield this year and is one of several state league midfielders good enough to push for an AFL list position.Arguably the best state league key forward, Brett Eddy, had another big game with 16 disposals, eight marks (one contested), seven goals, three behinds and two score assists. Eddy has the game to be a quick fix for a club looking for someone who can step into a best 22 from day one and contribute.ReservesJake Comitogianni, another midfielder to miss out on a national combine invite continued his strong form through the midfield with 31 disposals, 10 contested possessions, three clearances and two score assists.Forward Tyson Stengle continues to hit the scoreboard with 12 disposals, four marks and three goals.ColtsJack Graham, who won this years Larke Medal for best performer during the AFL Under-18 Championships, had 23 disposals, eight contested possessions, nine tackles, six inside 50s, two goals and one score assist. While Graham is one of this years better performed draft prospects, his unreliable footskills are likely to see fall outside the first round and possibly somewhere in the second round.Ben Jarman continues his push for selection as a father-son prospect with 23 disposals, 17 contested possessions, four marks, seven tackles, eight clearances and one goal. Jarman has built a reputation for his composure with ball in hand, skills and finishing ability around goal. Showing that he can win the contested ball and win clearances at 175cm as he did on the weekend will serve him well and only heighten his draftability.Western Australian prospect watchWAFLLeaguePossible West Coast father-son selection Jake Waterman was impressive in his first WAFL League game with 15 disposals, four marks and five goals. This came after a strong first WAFL Reserves game last week when he had 19 disposals, nine marks and three goals. The 189cm Waterman is not seen as an early draft selection but on the back of his recent performances and the ease with which he has stepped up to the plate against more mature opposition, he is making an increasingly compelling case to West Coast for selection.ColtsFlashy forward Shai Bolton again had an impact with 17 disposals (16 kicks), nine inside 50s, three goals and three behinds. Bolton is an explosive forward who makes things happen with ball in hand. With further strong performances, clubs may look at Bolton with selections late in the first round.Projected top-10 selection Tim English as he does so often, had an impact around the ground with 24 disposals, 11 marks, 15 hitouts and one goal.Possible top-five selection Sam Petrevski-Seton continued his exciting form with 28 disposals, seven marks, six inside 50s and one goal.West Australias other ruckman Jeremy Goddard had his strongest impact around the ground for the season with 21 disposals, three marks, 30 hitouts and one goal. Goddard is a powerful ruckman who typically takes advantage of opponents at stoppages. Seeing Goddard expand his game and find more of the footy around the ground and kick a goal is a positive step in the right direction in his development.Division two states (Tasmania, Northern Territory, NSW/ACT, Queensland and Northern Academy) prospects watchBrisbane AcademyJacob Allison, Brisbanes promising 194cm utility, had one of his better games for the season with 20 disposals, eight marks, three inside 50s, four rebound 50s and one goal.Declan Watson as a key defender also continues to show promise with 13 disposals, five marks and three rebound 50s.Gold Coast AcademyBottom-age prospect Jacob Dawson continued to show promise through the midfield with 24 disposals, seven tackles and eight clearances.Brad Scheer was again productive with 17 disposals, five marks, three tackles and one goal.Jack Bowes, playing as a forward impacted the scoreboard with 12 disposals, three marks, five tackles and three goals. The 20-year-old Pelicans big man glanced up and smiled widely at the well-wishers -- a fitting end to a day he wont soon forget. Davis responded to his selection earlier in the day as a Western Conference All-Star with 26 points and 10 rebounds, and the New Orleans Pelicans overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-91 on Friday night.Kevin Pietersen branded Chis Gayle a freak show and voiced his concerns over Englands bowling after West Indies beat Eoin Morgans men by six wickets at the World T20. Gayle smashed 100 not out from 48 balls to become the first man to crack two World T20 tons, following his 117 against South Africa in the inaugural tournament in 2007.But does the Jamaicans form make West Indies genuine contenders for the 2016 trophy and what of England? KP, who watched the game in the Sky Sports studio, talks the universe boss, Englands issues and more… Sky Sports Nasser Hussain pays tribute to Chris Gayle after he smashed a century off just 47 balls. Chris Gayle and West Indies title chancesKP SAYS: He is a superstar, a freak show and was proud to get himself over the line and not leave it to anyone else. Thats what you want to do as a batter - you dont feel that satisfaction if you fall 10 runs short. He understood that he was just standing there and that it was the bowler was under pressure and thinking Where do I bowl to this bloke? Its a simple game-plan but it is so effective. Gayle cant do that in every game but you only need one or two players in form to score the bulk of your runs and then have other guys chipping in to go a long way in a tournament. Englands Joe Root told Rob Key that there were plenty of positives to take away from their six wicket defeat to West Indies. Swell Bottles Wholesale. Englands bowlingKP SAYS: The only thing England should be concerned about is their bowling. Why did Adil Rashid only bowl two overs, for example, and who is Englands other death bowler, besides Chris Jordan, who is brilliant at it. They havent played cricket in India, though, and only Eoin Morgan has played in the IPL. Thats a huge thing and it showed when Joe Root said 180 was a par score. It wasnt. Adil Rashid is a much-improved bowler, says KP Adil RashidKP SAYS: He now has the ability to bowl his googly and leg-spinner a little bit quicker. He was previously a bit one-paced with his leg-spinner and his googly wasnt as quick but now he varies his speeds and bowls both balls at the same pace, so you have less time to pick them as a batsman. Jason RoyKP SAYS: Jasons strength is also his weakness. He has the ability to crunch any ball anywhere from third man to fine leg but he tries to do it a bit too early, so I think he needs to play 10 balls and get himself in and then express himself. Running down the wicket and slogging is not his game, and for consistency at the top of the order and for England to keep selecting you, you have to get yourself in. Kevin Pietersen had some advice for Jason Roy ahead of Englands World T20 opener against West Indies.
